Deconstruction Services is a cost-effective way to remove residential and commercial structures to maximize material recovery. Performed mostly by hand, this method can result in the salvage of up to 85% of a building's material for reuse. Deconstruction is an alternative to traditional "wrecking ball" demolition methods and its benefits include:
  · Lowering building removal costs
  · Reducing the environmental impact of construction practices
  · Conserving landfill space by keeping quality reusable building materials out of the waste stream
  · Creating new, living wage job opportunities in a developing field

In addition, an important advantage to using Deconstruction Services is that instead of dumping, you can donate the salvaged building materials (anything that is reusable) to The ReBuilding Center for a tax-deductible receipt.

Deconstruction Services
can help you with your next redevelopment or remodeling project. The way we work is that you or your general contactor hires us to deconstruct your commercial or residential structure. Our licensed (OR CCB# 145799, WA OURUNV*973B7) and bonded crews are capable of both large and small jobs including complete homes & commercial structures, kitchen tear-outs, garages, roof to foundation deconstruction, multi-story, partial salvage, and more.

When we complete a job, you receive a detailed portfolio including an itemized written and photographic documentation of the salvaged materials that you can use for tax purposes or for historic record.

We would be happy to give you a free estimate and to discuss all your removal options with you. Please fill out our Job Information Sheet and someone will be in touch with you shortly. You may contact our Program Managers at 503-331-9875
or e-mail decon@rebuildingcenter.org for more information.
