acting executive director
Kelly grew up amongst the towering redwoods on the rugged coast of Northern California, where her love for protecting the environment and strengthening community took root. After driving cross-country to live and work in New Orleans after high school for several years, Kelly was called back to the Pacific Northwest to finish school at the University of Oregon. She then headed further north in 2009 to put her passion and environmental studies degree to work as an employee and volunteer at various Portland nonprofits before landing at the ReBuilding Center in 2015.
When not working at RBC, Kelly can be found strolling the neighborhood with her husband and big dog Whiskey, finding new excuses to add salvaged items to their home, cheering in the Timbers Army, exploring Oregon’s wild places, perfecting her bagels, planning theme parties, and getting silly with her nieces and nephews.
